Secretary Daniel C. Barr
Daniel C. Barr, MBA, was designated as the Ohio Department of Administrative Services’ representative to the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Veteran’s Home Agency, on February 7, 2006. Mr. Barr is currently serving as the Chief Administrator for the Office of Properties and Facilities, in the General Services Division of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (ODAS). Mr. Barr holds undergraduate degrees in Architecture and Business Management; and completed his Master of Business Administration degree in 2005, from Franklin University. Prior to joining ODAS in August 2005, Mr. Barr served as the Section Chief for the Facilities Management and Architectural Services Section of the Ohio Department of Transportation. He also worked several years in the private-sector in architectural design and management positions for local architectural and engineering firms. Daniel is the son of a disabled World War II veteran, and has expressed his involvement with the Ohio Veteran’s Home Agency Board as being, “an honor and privilege to serve the veterans who have served our country.” Mr. Barr resides in rural Madison County. |
